The EuroMillions lotto draw takes place twice per week on Tuesday and Friday.
This lotto is a 5/50 plus 2/11 powerball style lotto game and in order to play, you need to pick five numbers between 1 and 50 and two numbers between 1 and 11 (Lucky Stars). Match all seven numbers with those drawn and you'll win the Euro Millions jackpot!
The EuroMillions has thirteen prize divisions and you only have to match 2 numbers to win a prize! The overall odds of winning any prize is 1 in 13.
Each time the EuroMillions jackpot prize is not won, there is a rollover until a limit of 190 million Euros is reached. The 190 million Euro cap is allowed to play on for two more draws, if it is still not won, the jackpot is distributed down to the lower tiers.
Up until the age of the internet and online ticket vendors, you had to be in one of the nine participating countries to buy EuroMillions tickets. Not any more! Now, thanks to internet technology, anyone can play the EuroMillions online from anywhere in the world. This is done by using a certified online lottery ticket agent such as 'theLotter'.
